Raj Dhar

Dr. Raj Dhar is Professor of Neurology in the Section of Neurocritical Care at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. His NIH-funded research focuses on integrating imaging approaches to quantifying brain injury after stroke with genetics to better understand disease processes such as cerebral edema. He is associate editor for the journal, Translational Stroke Research, ex-chair of the Translational Science Committee for the Neurocritical Care Society annual meeting, and director of an annual workshop in bioinformatics at this meeting. He was guest editor of the recent special issue in the journal, Neurocritical Care, on Big Data and AI in Neurocritical Care and is guest editor for the upcoming special issue in Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism, on Genetics and Omics in Stroke.
