Maria Antonia Poca

Maria Antonia Poca, M.D., Ph.D., is a neurosurgeon at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital and coordinates the Department of Paediatric Neurosurgery, considered as Reference Service (CSUR–Neurocirugía Pediátrica Compleja) by the Ministry of Health since 2013. She holds a position as Associate Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and, together with Dr. J. Sahuquillo, coordinates the Neurotraumatology and Neurosurgery Research Unit (UNINN, www.neurotrauma.com), a multidisciplinary group where clinical and basic investigators collaborate in translational research.
